Would anyone know of art critics who would be kind enough to take out some time to write about my work so I could put it in the catalogue of my forthcoming show at the India habitat centre, delhi.
Last time I had Mr. Samir Dasgupta who had written about my works when I was a total amateur on the exhibition at the Academy, kolkata, 2004.
Wondering if someone can fill in details of who all are now with the newspapers etc.
I do have a review in the San francisco Chronicle and am thinking of adding that as well.
any suggestions pls!!

Ashok Nayak | | Dear, it looks like you need bit guidance here. Please take it serious Priyanka, Critics are essential part of our art society, you need a good critic to guide you also.They can narrate you and your work with a proper example which will help you to grow. So as serious as work, you should meet a critic. It's not really necessey to think about somebody from Delhi or India, you can talk to anybody near you, can visit your studio, can discuss with you and intervew you.These are some points you should practice.

Thanx for your suggestions.
Well I do understand the importance of a critic and thankfully have experienced quite sane and good ones. I do have reviews in San Francisco chronicle and by a museum director here which I would be putting. I just thought connecting with India would also be good. I am definitely serious about my work and everything related to it.Since I would be exhibiting in Delhi I thought it would also be good to invite art critics from there. I still do think that will be important so also want information about that.

Sonali Engineer | | pruyanka try suneet chopra (will pm his numbers to you), you could try others like Ahbhijeet (will pm numbers). and there is johny ML too.
its not such a big deal getting critics word into your catalogue - i mean you know how it works - they just have to relate and like your work.
