i visited on day one only so i do not know about the confernce bit but here is my take on it:
wonderwal was a breath of fresh air there.
Anil's gallery has some good artists
triveda had good art mix - bengal and upcoming
ashok gallery was too crowded so i backed out
dhoomimal had one husain print
gallery art alive was very good
Rob Dean and nature morte were ok but the gallery owners persona was stronger

all in all it was good but what i saw was some genuinely good fresh work - (there was a fake Souza there which i think many noticed). lots of new artists work was being promoted and on the whole was a mildly nice experience but we do have a long way to go to get to Basel standards... we will do it eventually.

can someone tell us how was the conference on saturday???
