Art is something which is priceless.I interpret this as something which has a very high value to one person and at the same time valueless to another.
Is there some way of exactly defining what a collector see's in a work to make it valuable? And can another person appreciate the same point in a work? And should someone codify the points which make a painting valuable or not?
I think it is best left to the individual to decide the fine points for appreciating a work or not.
